“I want to do good. I want the world to be better because I was here.”

…That’s my favorite quote from this compilation. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I have.

Napoleon Hill Discusses “Think & Grow Rich” – The Mastermind Principle

1 10 2009

A Mastermind consists of two or more people who work in perfect harmony for a definite purpose.

It is the principle through which you can accomplish in one year, more than you could accomplish without it in a lifetime, if you depended entirely upon your own efforts for success.

Here’s To The “Crazy” Ones

17 09 2009

“Here’s to the Crazy Ones! The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward. Maybe they have to be crazy. How else can you stare at an empty canvas & see a work of art? Or, sit in silence & hear a song that’s never been written? Or, gaze at a red planet & see a laboratory on wheels? We make tools for these kinds of people. While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

Paul Potts, Cell Phone Warehouse MGR …Becoming Who He Was Born To Be.

19 01 2009

I am a firm believer in the capacity of mankind to do, be or become anything their hearts desire.

Of course, there are principles of belief in oneself and the power of positive thinking that must be applied, but every single human-being has the capacity and ability to apply them.

I just wanted to share this short clip about the cell
phone warehouse manager/opera singer Paul Potts.

This is very inspiring!!

Here’s To Creating A LIFE – NOT Just A Living.

…To Living YOUR Life ON PURPOSE.

…To Becoming Who YOU Were Born To Be!

Goals Vs. Intentions

13 01 2009

I was recently reviewing my goals a couple days ago from when I first got involved in Network Marketing; when I realized how confusing the concept of goal setting can be.  And, possibly why so few people achieve their “goals.”
When I first got involved Network Marketing, I was taught to set monthly, yearly, 5 year, etc. income goals; how many people I would sponsor each month; how many leaders I would develop, how much volume my group would produce, etc.

To be honest, this always baffled me. I would sit with a blank piece of paper, and wonder why I just wasn’t “getting it.”

Sure, I could think up some arbitrary numbers, but without a clear road map or idea of how I was going to get there, I would quickly wad up the page and turn on the TV. (Well, not quite, but almost!)

Once I was taught and mastered the art of setting “intentions”, and being very clear about what I needed to do each day in my business, things REALLY changed, and for the better!

Take responsibility and control.

Setting intentions is really more about taking responsibility and control for the actions that YOU CAN and WILL complete.

To say one wants to earn $10,000 a month by the end of year one is great, but since Network Marketing is a volunteer army, one is depending on some other people to hold up their end of the rep agreement! Unless you can work 24/7 and never sleep!

Make small steps DAILY.

But, to focus on simple, daily action steps such as – contacting 5 people a day about the business (this can be done in person, over the phone, through email, via a website, a leads program, etc), 5 days a week; making 5 follow up phone calls or emails from the contacts you create; and taking other various steps to build ones business (Networking via message forum postings, social networking, sharing samples of the product with people everywhere you go, running an ad in your local paper, attending company events in your local area, submitting articles for ezines, hosting your own local opportunity meeting, publishing an ezine, etc. – now that’s the kind of “goal setting” that can create what one is REALLY looking for.

So, make your “business plan and goals sheet” about setting your intentions for each day, week, month and year, and then COMMIT to those intentions.

Follow through and DO IT.

Don’t look back for 90 days, and commit those 90 days to solid intentions each and every day!

Be sure you set realistic intentions, too. Set yourself up for success with smaller numbers and smaller steps and then get them done. As you begin to feel more comfortable with the process, then you can begin to take bigger steps and set bigger intentions.

Align your attitude.

Make sure your attitude is aligned with your intentions. Don’t miss this key point.

If you intend to contact 5 potential prospects today, or share 5 samples of the product with 5 different people, make sure you are in a “Feel good” place to do so.

If you just had a fight with your boss, your teenager, your spouse, etc., you may want to postpone those promotions until you can get your energy in the place it needs to be. We are vibrational creatures and those we interact with pick up on ALL of our vibes, both good and bad.

Before you zip off that email or pick up the phone, close your eyes for 30 seconds and “play pretend!” “See” before you, exactly the outcome that you desire from those contacts. “Feel” the way you’ll feel when you accomplish your goal! Combine the two for a “billion dollar vibration” sure to attract exactly what you are looking for.

Be appreciative for each experience and how you can grow from it.

Each day, before you begin, spend some time reviewing your daily intentions. Write them down. Then get clear on your expected results, and finally… EXPECT those results to show up!

Belief is a POWERFUL thing and with it, all things are possible.  We all believe something. Make sure you check what that belief is!

INTEND for this year to be your best year ever, and then EXPECT it! Keep your focus there and watch amazing things happen!

To Your All-Star Success,

Dear Master, I would like to know what is your opinion about people who were born disabled?

You are probably asking yourself what is the reason for my question…. well, I have a daughter that was born disabled. I am always asking myself “why”… I don’t except it.

I don’t understand why.

Everyone is telling me that I’m wrong…. I don’t know maybe I am, maybe I’m not.

That is why I would like to know your opinion about the subject; it is very difficult for me and on the same topic, do you have any children? Dear Master? Peace and spiritual harmony— to you Master of life.

Thank You.

We have created a utilitarian society, where a human being is nothing more than simple merchandise, sold by the hour…

What we call “work” is nothing more than selling hours of our lives in order to fill our bellies…

We learn and prepare ourselves to acquire more qualities and properties that will get us a better price on society’s market.

Schools and universities, with their certificates and diplomas are like quality tags, allowing us to get a higher price… something more elevated.

But the terrible problem is that we are wondering around in life not communicating with human beings, but with products. To each and every one of them we set a determined price…

In a world where the only importance is your utility, how difficult it has become to love… your price is set according to your beauty, intelligence, and skills… according to your ability to be useful… to be utilized…

We put canaries and nightingales in cages, and we charge a price according to their usefulness… Fortunate enough, they do not understand our illness… our disability… if they would understand; the sadness in their hearts would stop them from singing…

Walter… for me there is only one disability… lack of ability to love…

Our disability to open our hearts and appreciate the other, not only in relation to his utility… the disability of seeing people just as merchandise, objects intended to give us pleasure and comfort.

Children are not born disabled…. It is us, by the way we were trained by a utilitarian society that have have lost our natural ability to accept and appreciate ourselves… to honor beings not as objects with a certain price and a determined quality set according to your necessity.

I have 3 children and one memory…

I say memory, because a few years ago a tender and sweet flower was born to me, with little usefulness perhaps, and with a lot of health problems… she lived for 2 years and then finally passed away… in that time laps, between hospitals and suffering, that girl allowed me to get rid of my disability… she expanded my ability to love.

Walter, believe me, being enlightened is not a matter of knowledge or mystic experiences, it is about loving more and more, day after day.

I send you my humble blessings, that your daughter will overcome each and every problem, but first of all my blessing is to you, that you’ll be able to stop seeing your daughter, life, and yourself and others as something useful… as a packet of cigarettes, as a beer can or a notebook to take notes.

Humanity and its way of perceiving people, does not allow us to express our ability to love…

I know that it is difficult… difficult not because of you Walter… but because we were trained only to buy, rent and sell!… to get a value! To set and categorize others according to their rate… we go through the world with that small machine that pastes price labels… pasting them on others, and that which we call “human relationships”.

How sad!!… We feel so threatened when another product is put on display next to us… another object with a higher price.

We feel the fear of losing the customer… fear that our value will drop.

Always remember … love isn’t a comfort, love isn’t useful.

I don’t love you because you are convenient… no, no, no… Loving you can be a huge inconvenience… I don’t love you because you are useful… no, no, no…

We love, because love is our natural song. It is the essence of our life.

Didn’t you notice yourself the moment you loved? … How alive you were?

You think that life it difficult and unfair… no Walter, it is wonderful… But it doesn’t always understand our illusory foolishness.

I admire Mother Teresa. Do you know why?

Not because she helped disabled children. No!

She truly helped parents, she helped us — a sick humanity… she helped thousands of parents and an incapacitated society to love.

It is written in the bible, “LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS YOU LOVE THY SELF”… and I say to you, be careful!… because you’ll be able to perceive the other, only as you perceive yourself… If you see yourself as cheap merchandise, it will be impossible for you to love. Products fight, compete and get sold… it is sad but they are also being dumped… to the trash bin or to “elderly citizen’s home”… when their utility is expired…

Products might have value, but have no soul. They have no heart… they do not cry…they do not suffer; they do not feel… it is possible to store and to reduce their value… according to their utility. As much as you serve, that’s your value.

Do you know why humanity never accepted masters in good spirits? Because they are not comfortable, because they are the ones who object to see humanity as preservative cans. Masters do not accept this game in which you are being asked to be a basic product… Because in this huge market of ambitions, wars, exploitation, competitions, we are so inconvenient… inconvenient to man and his society…

A master is the sound of a bubbling brook…

A sunset, the sound of the river does not join any political party; you can’t even send them to fight a war…

In short, sincerely, what can this poor society do with them? They are not useful.

What have they got to teach?

Only the art of smiling… the profession of flying… the skill of listening to the wind… the gift of ingenuousness… the doctorate of star gazing whilst strolling on the she shore… only such similar professions.

Now tell me why wouldn’t they want to kill you?

A Master is one of those things like a night lightened by a full moon, which helps so much but at the same time is so useless…

Your daughter is a star, a sunset; who can help you tremendously even though being useless.

Hari Bol!, and a huge hug my friend… I call you a friend even though I found no real use in you… and if I would have found, I would have doubted if our friendship is true…

I’m not sure if you understand what I am saying in this moment…

But only by getting close to someone, who has no use to us, someone who gives us nothing but inconvenience, One can learn true love.

This daughter is a star! A flower! … Disabled? No my dear Walter … the disabled, the handicapped, the limited are us.

We are a sick society in which even a tear is no more than a weakness.

Farewell, and remember always: what turns us into true humans, is exactly those things we love, respect and accept, even if it is not for their use…

The Invitation

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.

It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain!I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it, or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, to remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul; if you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see beauty even when it’s not pretty, every day, and if you can source your own life from its presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, “Yes!”

It doesn’t interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up, after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done to feed the children.

It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you, from the inside, when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.
